In CGI's IX version, finally the game's Genesis NFT, the "Ball Marker NFT" which is perceived as one of the axes of a web3 blockchain game, will be implemented.
1. What is the Genesis Ball Marker NFT?
You can find an item called a "ball marker" when you play golf. When the golf ball needs to be put away to avoid interference with the accompanied player's ball, the ball marker is used for literally marking the location of the ball. In fact, it is also commonly used for representing a player's identity.
The very first NFT of CGI has been created based on the concept of a ball marker. A total of 10,000 NFTs will be minted with eight different themes and will display a unique image just like a PFP NFT.
The collection can be owned through various routes such as OG users' rank reward, airdrop, promotion reward, launchpad sale, in-game events, etc.
Since the supply will gradually increase depending on the number of active users instead of being distributed at once, users who have constantly played the game before the IX update or at least enthusiastically play the game after the renewal will be able to obtain one or more Ball Marker NFT(s).
The initially minted 10,000 Ball Markers are the Genesis NFTs of CGI, which will provide Genesis-exclusive benefits such as useful utilities for the game progress as well as bonus GGTs (the governance token).
